Sayuri: One of My Favorite Singer

酸欠少女さユり(Sanketsu Shōjo Sayuri) is a Japanese singer who is born in 1996. She aimed to be a singer when she was six because she saw a group of idols performing and was deeply touched by them. After that, she bought a guitar and tried to compose, and her very first song "るーららるーらーるららるーらー( Ru-Rararu-Ra-Rurararu-Ra-)" have already won the prize in a contest while she was only 15 years old.

Three years after the contest, she held her first live concert in Tokyo, and all tickets were sold out. The concert was a farewell for Sayuri, since she would no longer be a student, but a singer. Few months later, she released her first single "ミカヅキ(Crescent Moon)" as a debut, and the song was adopted to an ending song for an anime called "Game of Laplace".

Her stage name means a girl who is running out of oxygen. The reason why she gave herself a name like this was because she had difficulty with getting alone with others after enrolled in high school, feeling that she was disconnected to the world. She brought that suffering feeling, as if she is running out of oxygen, to perform every song.

As for my favorite song of hers, I would say it is "来世で会おう(See You in the Afterlife)". Sayuri always use her heart, even soul, to sing, especially in this song. It makes me crying every time I listen to it.

Thank you for watching and feel free to share your favorite singer with me and which song you like the most! See you next week!

Earworm: Let's Replay the Music!

I believe you all have heard the songs that make you keep replaying them and they are very hard to get tired of. Those songs are called earworm, sticky music, or stuck song syndrome, and are often catchy. Though the definition is written, people's feeling to a song vary individually, so the music I mentioned below is my personal favor.

For instance, Justin biber's "Baby" can be a earworm. I have to apologize for giving a controversy example since I don't listen much English songs. In Japanese, people consider those songs to drugs, because they are so addictive that after hearing them once, you can't forget the melody.

It is a song released by GARNiDELiA, a Japanese band. The girl in the middle of the video is the vocal of the band. I have no idea why I can replay this song for over ten times and do not feel bored or tired, no matter how many times I play it, I still get goose bumps all over every time. By the way, the vocal's name is Maria, and she is so cute.

As for this song, it's a song composed by Nayutan Alien and sung by Hatsune Miku. I think it is a cute song, and you can remember the melody very easily. But I think this one does not suitable for repalying again and again.

Do you like the music? Or do you have a earworm list? Please share with me and I will be glad to tell you my feeling about the song!

Thanks for watching!

Vocaloid: A Singing Software

Vocaloid is a software that can produce singing by input the tone and lyrics, it helps those talented but not famous composer to complete their songs with a synthetic voice, since they may not have enough money to find a singer. Thus, the software actually doesn't need a image, but somehow Yamaha, the inventor of the software, decided to create a character for each sound samples, and that'show Hatsune Miku and other figures came out and that's why many people misunderstand that vocaloids are animate characters.
Hatsune Miku(初音未來)

The first time I heard a vocaloid song was at my age of 14, and I have been loved with it from then on. At the beginning, I didn't know the song was not sing by human, but I did think the voice was quite different. This is the song that lead me to the gate of vocaloid.

This song is called Six Trillion Years and Overnight Story(六兆年と一夜物語) and it is composed by KEMU, the reason why I upload it without images is because I want you to have the same feeling as I did. I have to admit that it is not the best song I have ever heard, but it is still a good one, though.

Now you have learn more about vocaloids and thanks for reading them. This may not accept by everyone but I would be very happy if you can consider them as a singer. The viedo below is my favorite song, and how the concert look like.(I have been to the concert once last year)

Hope you enjoy the music!
