Three years after the contest, she held her first live concert in Tokyo, and all tickets were sold out. The concert was a farewell for Sayuri, since she would no longer be a student, but a singer. Few months later, she released her first single "ミカヅキ(Crescent Moon)" as a debut, and the song was adopted to an ending song for an anime called "Game of Laplace".
Her stage name means a girl who is running out of oxygen. The reason why she gave herself a name like this was because she had difficulty with getting alone with others after enrolled in high school, feeling that she was disconnected to the world. She brought that suffering feeling, as if she is running out of oxygen, to perform every song.
As for my favorite song of hers, I would say it is "来世で会おう(See You in the Afterlife)". Sayuri always use her heart, even soul, to sing, especially in this song. It makes me crying every time I listen to it.
Thank you for watching and feel free to share your favorite singer with me and which song you like the most! See you next week!
